About a month ago I did a 3 day bulletin board with them. I received the promised $100 about 6 days after I completed the study. Pretty good!!

I have earned hundreds and hundreds of dollars with this company on panels. What some survey takers do NOT realize is that you must be unscrupulously HONEST when taking surveys. I believe 20/20 monitors surveyers and culls the list of those who are dishonest and not reliable. I’ve been on many panels for this company and they have rewarded me quickly with extremely well paying incentives. I’ve never had a problem with 20/20 and I only recommend this company if you are willing to be thorough, thougtful and have integrity when filling out surveys.
Huge Payouts for Multi Day Surveys

Now THIS is the type of survey company you look for on line to supplement your income for real. Not $1, $10 in amazon, 400 “points” or sweeps entries. Real checks that come in a few days after finishing one of their surveys. They do call after you qualify for a survey to make sure you answered all your questions honestly. They surveys I have done have been multi-day online bulletin boards with tons of questions and huge payouts, very worth my time. 3 days, 30 min to 1 hour each afternoon, 30 min to 1 hour each night = $75! Paid quickly! Interesting surveys, too!

To put it simply, American Consumer Opinion (or ACOP for short) really works. It’s not going to make you a millionaire, you won’t be able to give up work, and you probably won’t be able to buy a new car unless you do this for a very very very long time. However, it’s an enjoyable way of earning a few bucks for something that I for one find quite enjoyable.
If you like surveys, and don’t mind putting a little effort in once in a while, read on to find out more. If you would rather spend your £100 joining a get-rich-quick program, you can always send it to me instead. I’m a very worthy cause, honest!
I joined ACOP alongside many many other “make money on the Internet” programs over a year ago now, as things weren’t so good on the bank balance front. Most programs I still have yet to earn even a dollar from, but I was somewhat surprised with what happened with ACOP.
I received a screening survey for a survey they were conducting on electronics. Then a couple of days later came an offer in my inbox to join a survey that would be worth $10. So I did, it took about 15 minutes and to be honest thought they would probably send me a cheque it would cost me a fortune to cash, and completely forgot about it. Until a couple of weeks later I got a phone call at work from my partner at home to tell me a letter had arrived for me from Dallas. I thought it was junk mail, it wouldn’t have been the first time I’d have received junk mail from abroad, so thought nothing of it.
Imagine my surprise when getting home I opened the envelope, and yes you guessed it, it was from a nice lady called Anne Parks at ACOP thanking me for taking part in the survey and enclosing a $10 American Express Voucher. I really wasn’t expecting it, and I think I was more excited that I actually had something nice arrive that wasn’t a bill. Believe it or not, it wasn’t so important that it was $10 but more that I had earned that money, it was a bit like winning a prize and I was all excited!
~ It all sounds so easy ~
Yes, it is, if you like surveys or marketing questionnaires. I know that not everyone does, but if you do, companies are prepared to pay for your thoughts and opinions. Some are more work than others, but they still don’t take up too much of your time. In between surveys you may get invites to do short surveys to update your information on their site and screening questionnaires to find participants for upcoming surveys.
~ What kinds of surveys are there? ~
I’ve had mostly surveys on electronics, and one thing they offered was to come up with a product name for a new drink. They gave you a description and paid you $20 for your suggestions. Not strictly a survey, but we had a fun half hour coming up with names for that one!
~ You mention dollars, but I live in the UK! ~
There is no problem with international membership, although I wonder how many more survey invites I would get if I lived in the US… They pay using American Express Gift Vouchers, which you can use one of two ways (1) Take them to your local Amex or foreign exchange counter and change them into your local currency, or (2) If you’re going on holiday to the US take them with you and you can use them to buy goods over the counter directly, thus avoiding changing them into cash at all. I’m saving mine for my next US vacation!
~ Can I make referrals? ~
Sadly you can make recommendations but you don’t get any money for these, unlike some sites. Unless you own your own website and sign up as an affiliate. You then earn 30 cents for each new person that signs up, but they say they pay by US cheque in US dollars. I suspect they would pay by real cheque rather than Travellers’ Cheque, which is why I never bothered to sign up. However, there’s nothing to stop you recommending it to people you know so they can get some money too, even if you don’t stand to gain financially!
~ What can I earn? ~
Well I’ve told you what I have earned. They say that all registered members participate in a monthly draw for $250, but I’ve never won anything from this. Answering their screening questionnaire should also enter you in a draw. Their site says that surveys can generate between $4 and $25, “depending upon the length of the questionnaire and the time it takes to complete it”. With one exception, I’ve earned $10 a time for fairly short questionnaires.
~ How often do they pay out ~
They pay out after every survey you complete, not saving it up in an account like other companies. Obviously it takes some time for mail to reach the UK from Dallas but you can usually expect payment 2-3 weeks after you’ve done the survey, unless they tell you otherwise on the site or the survey itself. Since their gift vouchers thus far have arrived in $10 denominations, I suspect in the UK we’re limited to those surveys that would pay you $10 or $20, rather than the £4 or $25 ones, since they would be difficult to pay in gift vouchers but I could be wrong, it’s just a thought…
Payment for prize draws are sent within 4 weeks, which could mean you getting something pretty much out of the blue here in the UK. For privacy they do not publish winners names on the site, but equally it doesn’t say whether or not you are informed by email first. Would be interested to hear from anyone who has won something how this works, or if you just get some money in the post!
~ Who can join? ~
They say that anyone can join. They welcome participants from all over the world, and we know for a fact the UK is OK. In fact, their website (www.acop.com) is available in 8 different languages, including Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish etc. However, they do say that membership of the scheme is limited to one per household and they will refuse membership from extra applications, I’m not entirely sure how accurate that is though, but you’re probably safest not to chance everyone joining up in the same house!
~Other things ~
They have one of the most helpful FAQs I’ve seen, explaining clearly how it works, who can join etc, and will generally get back to you on any email queries pretty promptly. They also offer a number of ‘fun surveys’ on their site which you don’t get any recompense for, they’re just, erm, fun!
So to recap, if you like:
a) Filling out surveys
b) Earning a bit extra money
And don’t mind:
a) Having to pop to the travel counter to change some money up once in a while
b) Having to stay at work until you win the Lottery
c) Doing the occasional survey

How does it Work?
You will get an email asking some initial questions which dependant on the answers that you supply may or may not lead to you being requested to complete the full survey. It depends whether you are of the correct candidacy to complete a survey and ACOP decide based on your answers if your profile fits the current survey requirments.
If you are successful you will receive a further Email at some time within the next 7 days asking you to follow a link, sign in and complete the listed questions.

~~ What were they like?
Simply put they were simple! Two of them were in the format of straight multiple choice questions and took me 10 minutes to complete. The 3rd asked for some direct input from me in my own words. This one took a little longer to complete.
What happens when I have finished?
Two things can happen:
You are informed that your name will be placed in a draw and if you are chosen you will win anything from $10 to $250. The payment will arrive within 28 days and you can exchange the vouchers in some Ratail outlets or at an American Express Office. You will of course loose out on both the exchange rate and commision. So about £6.50 in the hand. Full details are enclosed with the payment.

Q: Where are the surveys? I looked all through your site and still can’t find one.
A: American Consumer Opinion® does not post open surveys on our website. Panel members who are invited to complete a survey are sent an email from Anne Parks that contains the web address of the survey they are invited to complete. We use the information from the registration page (such as age, gender, geographic location, type of employment, and more) to match against the criteria for each survey on a case-by-case basis.
Q: How can I make sure that surveys from Anne Parks come to my Inbox instead of being blocked or sent to bulk email folders?
A: If your email program has a bulk mail or junk mail folder to automatically filter spam, please add aparks@acop.com to your approved sender’s list to make sure you receive our emails.
Q: What is a screening questionnaire?
A: A screening questionnaire is a short survey that contains no more than 15 questions. These questions may be about where you work, your job responsibilities, etc. All of this helps us to determine whether your area of expertise lends itself to the topic of the survey. Please be completely honest and frank when answering these screening questions, so that the questions we ask you to answer pertain to your knowledge and experience. Whenever you complete a screening questionnaire, your name will be entered into a drawing for cash awards.
Q: What is a questionnaire?
A: A questionnaire is a longer and more detailed survey than the screening questionnaire. These questions may ask about your opinions, your experiences, the types of products you use, etc. Please be completely honest and frank when answering these questions, as we want to be sure the questions we ask you center around your experience and the types of product you use. Whenever you complete one of these longer surveys, you will be paid an honorarium. Do you want to get paid for surveys? Of course you do! Admittedly, there are plenty of bogus paid survey schemes out there so you can imagine my delight in coming across CashCrate!
CashCrate is without a doubt, the best money for surveys program there is online.
How I Came Across CashCrate
The idea of staying at home and getting paid for simply filling out surveys always struck me as a ‘dream job’. I can do it in my pj’s and I even have access to free products and services! I started looking at paid survey programs but was dismayed at the seemingly endless negative reviews. Are there any requirements for participation?

I referred my friend and it didn’t give me credit?
The most common problem we encounter is when a group of people such as a dormitory at a university are on a shared IP and all run the same IP address. Since this is our first line of defense to protect against fraudulent referrals, you may just be out of luck. We have other methods to try and detect these types of referrals as well and if we believe a referral is suspect you will not immediately be given credit for it.

Clear Voice Surveys, quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Well, I have to admit that I was a little skeptical at first when joining Clear Voice Surveys panel. I did the usual signup process, completed the profile surveys, and much to my surprise was immediately presented with a $2 survey. It was a GlobalTestMarket rebranded survey, I attempted it but did not qualify, but they still gave me 25 cents for the few minutes I spent taking the qualify questions. Then a week went by with nothing, then I received several more surveys (one for $8 and one for $6), I completed them, but nothing showed up in my account. At first, I was not alarmed because I thought I had seen a message saying it would take two to four weeks for earnings to post. Well a month went by, and I had not received any more surveys, and no earnings had been posted. I had all but written them off, but then I received a survey invitation from them for $8 dollars. Well, I decided to check the account to see if any of the previous earning had posted and sure enough they had. Then I proceeded to take this $8 dollar survey on printers, and the earnings for it posted in less than two weeks.
Well all that drama was several months ago, and since then they have been pretty good about sending survey invitations (about 4 to 6 per month), and they have been timely in posting their earnings. I recently redeemed my earnings for $30 in Amazon gift certificates, which they emailed to me by the next day. I used them to help purchase Baby Einstein DVD’s for my daughter, she loves them, highly recommend if you are a parent. Also, they have a cash redemption option as well, but their provider InCheck does charge a small fee for their services.
A few tips I have found that are helpful for Clear Voice, first be sure to fill out all of your profile surveys. Second, login to their members area from time to time, and take their daily pole responses, they claim this will also increase the number of survey invitations you receive. Also, while you are there you can see the available surveys, just in case you missed the email invitation. Third, attempt all the surveys, because like GlobalTestMarket, they pay you a small amount even if you don’t qualify for the survey.

Clear Voice Surveys is one of my absolute favorite survey sites.
They offer rewards such as a check or gift cards, nice variety.
I get quite a few surveys from them, usually every other month, and most i do qualify for.
The surveys are very interesting and not time consuming at all.
I have been paid twice so far, and on time, one payment was a check and the other a gift card.
The only drawback is customer service, all though they are dependable, it sometimes takes too long to get an answer from them, but overall. They are just great!

This survey site isn’t bad. I get an average of 3-5 surveys a month and it’s consistent. If I do not qualify for a survey, I still get paid something. I usually make 10 to 25 cents a survey, even if it only takes me a minute or less to be disqualified. Free money. Granted, if you don’t qualify much, it may take a while to ge to the $10 payout minimum, but I usually qualify for at least a survey or two a month.
I have been with this company a year and have been paid out a few times. So, it’s been worthwhile. I haven’t ever had problems taking any of their surveys. They always prove to be interesting and when I do qualify for one, they are compensated well for the time involved.
The member area and support is very good. They allow you to continuously update your profile too. (Not just your address, but your interests and preferences too.)
This company pays out very fast once you make the request. It was under 30 days for me.
This may not be a huge money maker, but it’s worth it for getting paid, even when you don’t qualify. I would recommend giving it a try.

This is one of the more legit and genuine paying sites in the web today. I have been a member for over a month now and received my first payment earlier this week. It was actually one of the easiest earnings i made in the net and was highly pleased with it. It is an australian based company that pays you to take surveys by invitation. If you are 13 years of age and over with a valid e-mail address, then you are just a click away from a fun and prosperous opportunity, but this is not a get rich quickie deal.
Focusline is an online consumer research group committed to finding out what consumers think and feel about the companies they frequent using web-based surveys. This process of gathering consumer opinions and suggestions will ultimately help companies provide excellent service to their consumers.
The earning potential is $25-$45 for all paid surveys including one on one interviews and focus groups which are completely web-based. But the pre-qualifying short surveys are non-paid, and the questions in this survey type are to determine whether or not you meet the specific demographics. If you feel that you should have been notified for particular surveys because the pre-qualifying questions seemed to fit you perfectly, don’t abandon ship and give up.
Trust me, I have been there myself feeling like I was going to qualify, then I don’t, but I learned that there is a method to taking pre-qualifying surveys such as paying attention to every question because the questions follow a certain pattern to where if you are acutely aware of this pattern, then you can figure out what it is exactly the survey wants, but you must at the same time maintain a level of honesty at all times in order for the actual survey to be accurate.
In other words, no cheating. Your payday will be knocking at your door much sooner than you will believe, and it will keep on knocking.

They always pay what they promise. Some surveys are for contests. So, if you don’t win you won’t get anything. But most of their surveys pay with PayPal and they always pay for those. MySurvey has a really good member’s site with all sorts of fun polls and raffles. Their surveys cover all sorts of topics from financial services to consumer products. I have received several $10 surveys from them, and sometimes get free products in the mail to try out. The only thing I don’t like about them is that most of their survey invitations are short 3 minute surveys that pay 50 points or less, but I guess these are worth doing because it seems like doing these lead to the higher paying survey offers I receive from them. I have requested payment from them twice so far, and have gotten the checks within four weeks each time.
INFO is a good survey site. I have been paid by them a few times. I have also tested products for them. The only really negative thing about them, is that sometimes they don’t send emails letting you know you have a survey, so check the site often! I have been a member for over 2 years. I get maybe 6 to 8 surveys a month from them. Be sure to download the NFO messenger, its a great tool they offer to let you know when you have a survey, and they give you extra points when you download it.

I have made a few hundred dollars from surveysavvy without ever paying a dime. I am very happy with this but it does take some work to continue to get referrals.
For me, SurveySavvy is a good panel to be a part of. I get VERY few surveys from them, although I never get many surveys from ANY of the panels I’m a part of. However, I like that SurveySavvy pays MONEY for doing surveys and isn’t on a “points” basis. That is a big plus, and another great thing is that you can send for your money at any time. (You don’t have to wait to reach $5 or $10 in order to request payment. I have received $1 checks from them, as well as slightly bigger amounts.) Obviously you won’t get rich from this, but I’ve gotten more money, and in less time, from SurveySavvy than I have from the other survey panels.
I have been a member of SurveySavvy for a little over 4 years now and my experiences with them have been pretty good overall. I have found them to be a great company (trusworthy and reliable) to do surveys for and would recommend them.
They are a very honest company. They pay on time and I’ve never had a survey that wasn’t credited. Their customer service is very friendly and prompt when there are questions or issues. The Survey Process
From time to time, registered members will receive emails from SurveySavvy.com inviting them to participate in a survey currently being conducted. Surveys are conducted for the benefit of SurveySavvy.com and its clients who have requested market research for a particular product or service or group of products and/or services within a particular demographic segment or segments of the population. Since most clients will require their surveys to focus on specific demographic groups, not all registered members will be invited to participate in every survey and not all respondents to an email survey invitation will be allowed to complete each survey. Invitations to participate in surveys will be sent out based upon the demographic criteria provided by members during the registration process and by the additional information provided by members through SurveySavvy.com’s “My Portraits.”
Registered members who agree to participate in a survey for which they have received an email invitation, may access the survey by clicking on the link provided in the email invitation. The respondent member will then be linked to a server containing a series of screening questions designed to ensure that a representative population of members meeting the client’s survey criteria are included in the survey process. The screening questions are not a part of the actual survey. The number of screening questions asked prior to the start of each survey will be limited in number but will vary by survey. Unless a particular survey has already received a sufficient number of responses or has otherwise been closed, those respondents that answer all the screening questions and meet all of the client requirements for the survey will be linked to the survey. 5. Incentive Credits

This isn’t an “earn points now, we’ll devalue them later” scam which many of us have fallen foul of in the past. I’ve been a member of this site for around a year now and the value of the points have never changed. Nor have the cash-in levels or anything else. This is a legitimate company which works on a points level undoubtedly to save themselves a packet on administration costs. It’s easier than sending out a payment for every survey completed and better for you too unless you want to keep cashing cheques for $3-$5 and incurring bank charges ever time! It also works in your favour because the more surveys you take, the higher the value of your points. They reward loyalty. 1000 points will earn you $50 for the first 9 surveys you have taken, but $60 if you have taken 10-19 and so on. There’s a conversion table on the site, I’m not going to try to explain it here! Basically the more surveys you have taken in your time at the site, the higher the point value. Oh there’s a referral scheme too which will gain you 20 bonus points for each friend you refer.
Yesterday I got my check for $50 from Global Test Market. I requested the check on July 4 and it arrived on the 30th so it took a little under 4 weeks for it to come. I have been doing surveys for a few months now. I enjoy doing some survey and others are quite annoying. Thankfully most are fine. One of the best survey sights I have used is Lightspeed Consumer Panel.
They are an online survey group. Lightspeed requires that you sign up and give some information to become a member. They do not charge any money. They also, do not ask for any information that I think would be harmful to give out. They ask questions about age, address, what I like, what I don’t like, etc. After completing my profile that was pretty much all I had to do to get started. They email me when there is a survey that I may qualify for. I just click on the link that they provide and answer some questions. Sometimes I qualify for the survey and sometimes I don’t. I have a made more money than I ever thought I would with them. I have made about forty-five dollars up to this point. Once I have reached 575 points I can redeem them for several different things. I choose to have the points redeemed for five dollars and then sent to Paypal.
I really like Lightspeed. They really do have me do surveys and not try to sell me anything. I don’t have to give a credit card number or anything like that. I would recommend Lightspeed Consumer Panel for anyone who doesn’t mind doing surveys and wants a few extra dollars.

Synovate Global Opinion Panels gives you points to complete surveys. Each point is worth 1/10 of a cent, and you can redeem your points for cash once you have reached 5000 points ($5), which is the lowest cashout minimum of any survey site I know of.
Most surveys pay between 200 and 1500 points ($.20 – $1.50), making their compensation a bit less than some other survey sites; their surveys usually last 20-30 minutes each. Synovate also offers compensation for product tests — I have done one product test with Synovate, and received 5750 points ($5.75) for it.
I have cashed out three times (a total of $30) in the 10 months I have been a member of Synovate, and it usually takes about 4 weeks for me to receive my check. I receive survey invitations from this panel less often than from other survey sites — about once every other week — but I almost always qualify for them.
The best thing about Synovate is their outstanding member support. Just this week, I had a problem with a survey — I completed 75% of it, when all of a sudden I was brought to a page that said I didn’t qualify, and I only received 50 points for it instead of the promised 1100. I emailed member support explaining the issue, and they emailed me back within 3 days, apologizing for the inconvenience. They ended up crediting my account with the full promised amount for the survey. I was highly impressed, because with most survey sites, you’re on your own if you encounter a problem or do not receive full compensation.
Overall, you may not earn as much money with Synovate as you would with other survey sites because of their less frequent surveys and slightly lower compensation; however, it’s still well worth being a member, if only because of their extremely reliable payment and excellent member service. Also, since they target their surveys very accurately, you’re more likely to qualify for most of the surveys you are invited to; this means you’ll waste less time filling out qualifying screeners for surveys you won’t qualify for. This is a good survey site to join, especially if you are truly interested in expressing your opinion about products and services.

What is Mystery Shopping?
Some retailers hire marketing research companies to evaluate the quality of service in their stores; these companies use mystery shoppers to get the information anonymously. They assign a mystery shopper to make a particular purchase in a store or restaurant, for example, and then report on the experience. Typically, the shopper is reimbursed, and can keep the product or service.
Many professionals in the field consider mystery shopping a part-time activity, at best. And, they add, opportunities generally are posted online by marketing research or merchandising companies. Nevertheless, fraudulent mystery shopping promoters are using newspaper ads and emails to create the impression that they’re a gateway to lucrative mystery shopper jobs with reputable companies. These solicitations usually promote a website where consumers can “register” to become mystery shoppers – after they pay a fee for information about a certification program, a directory of mystery shopping companies, or a guarantee of a mystery shopping job.
The truth is that it is unnecessary to pay money to anyone to get into the mystery shopper business. The shopping certification offered in advertising or unsolicited email is almost always worthless. A list of companies that hire mystery shoppers is available for free; and legitimate mystery shopper jobs are on the Internet for free. Consumers who try to get a refund from promoters of mystery shopping jobs usually are out of luck. Either the business doesn’t return the phone calls, or if it does, it’s to try another pitch.
The Facts of Mystery Shopping
Becoming a legitimate mystery shopper for a legitimate company doesn’t cost anything. Here’s how to do it:
1) Search the Internet for mystery shopping companies that are accepting applications. Legitimate companies don’t charge an application fee. Many accept applications online.
2) Do some homework about mystery shopping. Check libraries or bookstores for tips on how to find companies hiring mystery shoppers, as well as how to do the job effectively.
3) Visit the Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA) website at www.mysteryshop.org for information on how to register to be a mystery shopper with a MSPA-member company, a database of available jobs, and additional information on the industry in general.
4) In the meantime, the FTC says consumers should be skeptical of mystery shopping promoters who:
*Advertise for mystery shoppers in a newspaper’s ‘help wanted’ section or by email. While it may appear as if these companies are hiring mystery shoppers, it’s much more likely that they’re pitching unnecessary – and possibly bogus – mystery shopping “services.”
*Sell “certification.” Companies that use mystery shoppers generally do not require certification.
*Guarantee a job as a mystery shopper.
*Charge a fee for access to mystery shopping opportunities.
*Sell directories of companies that provide mystery shoppers.
If you think you have encountered a mystery shopping scam, file a complaint with your local consumer protection agency, your Better Business Bureau, your State Attorney General, or the FTC (ftc.gov).

Like most people, I was skeptical at first when I heard about making money by completing online surveys. However, I have done so successfully through Opinion Outpost (www.opinionoutpost.com).
I tend to earn about twenty dollars a month from this site. That is not a ton of money, but I barely have to do anything to get it. I don’t even answer every survey that is sent to me. Looking at my survey history, the average pay is about three dollars. The highest one was eighteen dollars. They typically take about fifteen to twenty minutes to complete. That’s not a bad hourly rate for sitting at my computer and answering questions about products or advertisements!
The biggest question that people have about sites like this, of course, is whether they really pay. I have received multiple checks in the mail from Opinion Outpost. You can request to cash out the money owed to you as soon as your balance is over five dollars, but I like to let it accumulate a little more. They pay by mailing a check, which usually takes a couple of weeks to receive.
For some time, I ignored the various paid survey sites I was a member of because I figured I would never qualify for any of them. But, just for the heck of it, I gave Opinion Outpost (www.opinionoutpost.com) a try and was impressed.

Do my rewards expire?
As long as you remain active within the panel, your cash rewards do not expire. However, panelists who do not respond to a survey invitation or other request for action for a period of 12 months will be removed from the panel, and any unredeemed rewards may be forfeited. Membership and/or accumulated rewards may be reinstated at the discretion of the panel.
How does the point system work?
Instant Winner amounts and bonus rewards are awarded in point values where 3,000 points = $1. Points automatically convert to cash values whenever you request a check. You can request a check when you have reached a minimum account balance of $10, or 30,000 points. For checks requested after 12/20/08, checks will be paid in multiples of $10. For example, if you have a balance of $12, and request a check, you will receive a check for $10, and have $2 remaining in your account. If you have a balance of $26, and request a check, you would receive a check for $20, and have $6 remaining in your account.
Why are checks only offered in multiples of $10?
Checks are paid in $10 multiples for the same reason the program was changed to a point system. The accounting efficiencies allow us to spend more time on survey opportunities for our members and less time on bookkeeping.

is one of the three sites that I have found to be legitimate. It is the most dependable and consistent
survey program I have found, making it my favorite.
Membership at Pinecone Research is not an easy task to accomplish. It took me six months to become a panel member.
I made several unsuccessful attempts, by going to their website and looking for a link to join.
Finally after I had given up on the idea, a friend of mine sent me the sign up page.
Becoming a member, is definitely the hardest part.
Pinecone Research invites me to participate in surveys twice a month, on the average. It is my understanding they will also send my husband and children

How will I be compensated for my participation?
Checks are issued to our panelists as payment for their participation in the PineCone surveys.
How long are PineCone checks good for?
The PineCone checks are good for a period of 120 days. If you run into difficulty cashing one of our checks, please let us know.
I misplaced one of my PineCone Research checks and now it’s expired. Can you replace it for me?
Due to the high volume of checks that we generate on a weekly basis, we are unable to replace lost, stolen or expired checks. The compensation charges for each product evaluation survey are immediately passed along to the sponsoring manufacturer and the accounting records are closed within weeks of the projects end.
If I’m selected to take part in the product-testing phase of a study, will I be compensated for that as well?
Absolutely! Participants are paid for each completed product evaluation survey. You are compensated for the initial product concept survey and again for the follow-up survey.
When can I expect to be compensated for my participation?
Your payment is processed the next business day following the completion of your product evaluation surveys.
Will I have to pay taxes on the sweepstakes cash prizes?
You are required by law to claim prizes valued at $600.00 or more when filing your tax forms and are also responsible for any local, state and/or federal income taxes.
Will my name be published on your web site if I’m selected as a sweepstakes drawing winner?
Your first name and last initial along with your state of residence will be posted on the PineCone website as one of our lucky drawing winners.
Can I suspend my surveys for a short time if I’m going to be out of town, on vacation, or my computer goes down?
Yes. Please call or e-mail us and we will be happy to put you on temporary hiatus for the amount of time you request. This way you will not miss any assigned surveys.
Do you recruit new members through your website or take referrals?
Presently, we do not recruit new members through our website or take unsolicited referrals. However, we will be posting recruitment opportunities through banner ads on various websites from time to time throughout the year. If you see one of these ads, please feel free to sign up with us.
How long does it usually take to complete a questionnaire?
We try to keep our studies as short as possible, making them most convenient for you. A typical questionnaire usually takes 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
How often can I participate in a study?
You can expect to be called upon to answer a survey once or twice a month, sometimes less. Our client volume drives the need for participants.
How will I be notified of my new product evaluation survey assignments?
All survey notifications will be sent to you via e-mail. We ask that you check your PineCone Research personal profile using the member login area on the web site to make sure that it contains the correct e-mail address and that any e-mail filters on your computer are set to allow you to receive correspondence from PineCone Research.
Will you ever try to sell me anything?
No one will ever attempt to sell you anything, and you will never be expected to purchase any products. We value your opinion.
PineCone Research is a new products panel. As such, we ask for your opinions on product ideas for items that are not generally available to the public. In exchange for the opportunity to tell manufacturers your opinion about these products, we require that you sign a security agreement at the front of each and every interview. This agreement is legally binding and states that you will keep the information that you saw in the interview confidential. It further states that you will promise not to copy, print or download any part of the interview or the pictures shown to you. It also states your agreement that others in your household will keep this information confidential.
In addition, you confirm that you and any one in your immediate household and family are not employed in a consumer package goods company, marketing researcher or advertising industry. Falsification of this information may be grounds for legal action.
We take this agreement seriously and require that you do so as well. Failure to do so, will result in your immediate removal from the panel and may be grounds for legal action.
Some of our members have been tempted to discuss products and their experiences on chat rooms and bulletin boards on-line or encouraged others seeking membership to misrepresent themselves during the registration process. We regard this as a security breach and cause for removal from the panel. For those of you who are looking into product testing jobs I happened to get a lead to an interesting site called “Market Reader Pro”. Market Reader Pro claims to be a site that allows users to test product and complete surveys. I am usually pretty skeptical about sites that are like this because they always seem to have some fine print that says that if you sign up they will send you “special offers daily” – which means spam you. And companies like that generally never even offer a single product to test. However, Market Reader Pro seems different. Not everyone is selected to participate in every study. It all depends on their clients’ needs.
In some studies, they will send you paid surveys and sample product(s) free of charge, and only request that you complete further online surveys. If you are selected, they will send you the samples free of charge, AND pay you for your time! Some surveys are only a minute or two long and do not come with a testing product. They ask that you complete these surveys as well and each survey has a different prize award. Sometimes in exchange for your help testing new products in your home you will get paid by check directly. Other times prizes are awarded on a lottery basis.

Out of all of the survey sites that I have joined (and there have been many), the most upstanding is HCDSurveys.com. This is the real deal.
My Experience
Membership to HCDSurveys.com is absolutely free and completely confidential. Once I joined the consumer panel, I filled out a brief survey about myself and my interests. I was then invited to participate in surveys regarding my interests and concerns. Some of the survey invitations that I have received were ones that were only available for a short time so it is essential to check your email on a regular basis or you will miss out. The invite will tell you how much the incentive is which is usually from $1 (100 points) – $5 (500 points). The invitation will have a link that takes you to the survey site where you must answer several questions that will either qualify or disqualify you from that particular survey. If you qualify, surveys very rarely take longer than ten minutes to complete and they are fun! Usually the survey contains a short video of either a political speech or a recent interview with a celebrity. Your job is to listen and answer multiple choice questions based on your opinion of what you heard. That’s it!
Your earnings are recorded based on a point system as I mentioned above. Once you reach 1,000 points or $10.00 you can request a check which you will receive within 2-4 weeks. The best part is that you never are asked to redeem your points for anything but cash. I have received several checks already. My last was for $11.50 and it didn’t take me long to get there since the amount of points/money you earn for each survey will vary for each survey. From time to time, you may be invited to a survey that does not offer an incentive for participating. You are not obligated to complete any survey but I do them all because they are interesting and I know my opinion counts. There is also a “refer a friend” incentive where you receive 25 points (worth $0.25) for every person you refer who becomes a verified panel member. It doesn’t sound like much but it all adds up!
My Final Viewpoint
I finally found a survey site that doesn’t have any hidden gimmicks or rules. I never get spam after completing surveys because my personal information is not shared or sold. The surveys are short, interesting, interactive and I get paid cash. HCDSurveys.com is the real thing. I definitely recommend this site and am giving it a well deserved 5 star rating.

Survey Lion is run by Canadian Viewpoint a market research company that is based in Ontario. Their survey panel is accepting people from anywhere in the world, but most of their surveys are for Canadian residents.
This site does offer a referral program but not an affiliate program. What I mean is you can refer your friends and family by sending them an email through the Survey Lion website. If they decide to join your account will be credited C$5.00 as long as they as become an active member. An active member is a person who has completed one survey or attempted three surveys but did not qualify. The Survey Lion referral program is not considered an affiliate program because they only allow you to send email invitations to other people you can not post a referral link to a website.
Their surveys can be worth C$1.00 to C$10.00. You can request your payment at anytime and you will receive a check in the mail about four to six weeks after it’s requested. Please keep in mind their payments are in Canadian dollars not US.

Begin Surveys is another company that will pay you cash to take online surveys. Begin Surveys has been conducting market research for the past 20 years. They produce customized web surveys for customers such as Showtime, Intel, Texas Instruments, Sponsorship Research International and Champion Sportswear.
Begin Surveys is a small company so don’t expect a huge number of surveys from them. You can expect to receive surveys every few months. So, you may go 3 months with nothing from them and then get 2-3 surveys in one month. Even though they are small, because their surveys are very customized for their clients they tend to pay well.
They also offer highly focused research panels at their offices. You can typically expect to be paid anywhere from $100-$150 per hour for onsite research panels. Begin Surveys is located in New Jersey for those interested in the onsite focus groups.

The company gains information from focus groups rather than simple questionnaires. Members of the focus groups meet either online on by phone. Members of the focus groups give responses about their careers, what hobbies they enjoy and even what they eat for breakfast.
All U.S. residents ages 13 and up are eligible to participate. This is a great way for a teenager to earn some extra money. But, it is important to point out that only one member of the household can join. If you sign up for the account you can participate as well and let the teen participate in groups that pertain to his age group. In essence, the entire family can participate on one account, but, each member can only participate is certain focus groups.
The pay for participation is actually quite good. You can expect payment of $40 to $150. Most focus group participation takes about an hour. Before you participate in the telephone forum you should first consider long distance charges. However, times of when the teleconference will begin will be made known to you ahead of time. Therefore, you may wish to choose participation for teleconferences that fall in your free night and weekend plan.
Payment is in the form of a check. It may take you a while to get your check depending on where you are located, the mailing service, and the office workers at Blarry House Research processing your account. Another drawback is that you aren’t guaranteed weekly work. The amount of participation you are allowed to have is contingent upon a questionnaire you fill out in the application process. You get $5 per survey per consumer referral and $10 per survey per healthcare professional referral. So if you have 3 consumer referrals and they each do 2 surveys, that’s $30!
This place has without a doubt one of the best referral programs I’ve seen. The potential there is enormous. I say potential because while I have received a number of survey invitations, I’ve only qualified for a few of them. If none of your referrals qualify for any surveys, no bonus for you. Still, the bonus from a single survey is more than you can get from most places. Aside from that, the payout per survey is about average for consumers, although I’m sure that the ones targeted to healthcare professionals pay much more.
